Beyond Judgement Quotes & Author Note

“Oh, what a beauty you are, Allie. For only a beauty would see the beast as something magical. Instead of the horrid creature, they can be.” I shake my head. She accepts me but doesn’t know everything. She loves the part that she knows but will she still love me when she knows it all? –Eve

“I felt the good and evil fighting amongst themselves inside of me. Ripping each other apart and demanding me to do something. So I chose. I chose to allow myself to love you. I chose to be seen by you. I chose to let them take the best part of me. I chose you.”– Eve

Author note:

I’ve had some question the spelling of the the word judgement. Most believe judgment is the correct way but either is acceptable. I chose the one with the “e” because of two reasons.

  1. Allie and Eve have a conversation within the book where they talk about the word. For them, the word “judge” has been a major part of their lives. They want to remember that there will always be people who judge them, but that they don’t have to judge others.
  2. I also like the way it looks more with the “e” as a book title.

So, there you go. My main characters prefer this spelling and the author does too! 😉

I thought I would tease you with a couple quotes from the book. I will post a Sneak Peek post in a few weeks once I’ve had a chance to go through the story a few times. In the meantime, I might post another set of quotes from Allie’s point of view. Until then, send me your questions or let me know your thoughts on this book.
